Chapter 928

Despite the disappearance of Genesis Games, Jack didn't seem burdened. Instead, he appeared more at ease, and his complexion became healthier.

This brought both relief and joy to Isaac and Joshua. It felt as though Jack had truly returned to them, free once again to share in their camaraderie.

After the meal, Jack got a call from Emily.

It had been a while since Emily had seen Jack. She hoped he could find time to return to Tarthy with her and Quintis. The trip would allow him to relax and become familiar with Sandalwood Group's operations.

Jack didn't outright refuse but said he'd think about it. He remembered that Feena's concert was coming up soon and that Bella from Montclair would be there too. He figured he might as well drop by.

After hanging up, Jack noticed it was almost 1:30 pm.

A thought crossed his mind. Phoebe was arriving at Frostgrade Airport at 2:00 pm. For a moment, he considered driving over to pick her up, but he quickly dismissed the idea.

Phoebe had never asked him to meet her at the airport. If he showed up unannounced, how would she take it?

Worse, if word got back to Feena, it would only complicate things.

After lunch, Isaac and Joshua headed to the indoor court for some basketball. Feeling bored, Jack returned to his dorm.

He figured he'd wait until around five or six in the evening before calling Phoebe to ask her out for dinner.

He decided to rest for a moment. Just as he lay down, his phone rang. It was Phoebe calling.

Her soft voice came through the line. "Jack, where are you right now?"

"I was napping. Are you back?" he replied.

There was a brief pause on Phoebe's end. Then, she softly asked, "I didn't wake you, did I? I was hoping you could help me with something."

"No, you didn't. I was about to get up anyway. What can I do for you?"

"I'm at the school gate right now, and I've got a lot of luggage. Could you help me carry it inside?"

"Sure!"

The snow fell heavier and heavier as Jack trudged through the thick white blanket toward the school gate.

Even though it was southern weather, the heavy snowfall had bowed the large trees low. Despite the weight of the snow, the trees lining both sides of the path remained lush and green.

Along the way, Jack noticed couples huddled close, which filled his heart with emotion.

When he reached the gate, the old iron archway stood solemnly amid the falling snow. The stern-faced security guard sat inside the booth, flipping through a copy of the C Gilded Bloom. Occasionally, be underlined passages with a pen.

And there she was—a striking figure in a pristine white down jacket, poised gracefully by the entrance. She was surrounded by a cluster of suitcases.

Her silky hair cascaded over her shoulders, framing her face. Her re long, slender legs added to her graceful presence. Even in thick winter layers, her elegance and effortless charm shone through.

Her silhouette alone had already caused countless young men to fall for her. Then,

she turned and when her eyes met Jack's, a faint smile touched her lips.

At that moment, she was

breathtaking-the kind of beauty that eclipsed everything else, leaving all others pale in comparison. The surrounding pure white snow made her stand out like a vision

"God, she's stunning... Who is she?"

"My heart's about to leap out of my chest... I can't even move."

"How have I never seen her on campus before?"

Numerous passing male students felt their hearts race, as if they might leap from

their chests.
