"Is that so?" Winter asked, the disappointment on her face morphing into joy in an instant.

The female students would be completely satisfied if they could listen to Jack's song once more. To the side, Phoebe's eyes also brightened.

Phoebe didn't seek Jack out in the following few days. Her time was tight because she was busy preparing all the necessary information for her postgraduate examination. She was also touching base with the relevant supervisors. Meanwhile, Emily contacted Jack again, inviting him and Quintis to spend time in Tarthy City. With not much else to do, Jack accepted her invitation.

He also received a call from Samuel, reminding him that they were scheduled to meet with several local securities companies and capital giants the next day. In order for Haven Net to achieve a high market price when the company became public-listed in the future, Jack was responsible for convincing these investors that Haven Net was a worthwhile company to funnel their funds into.

Their meeting with the major securities companies and investors would take place in Alnewgo's most prestigious building-Alnewgo Central Tower that cast a massive shadow over the city at over 968 feet tall. Other than the securities firms, several other businesses that were associated with Haven Net would also make an appearance.

On the eve of the meeting, Jack received a call from Jason, the mayor of Alnewgo. Jason questioned him about the time and location of the banquet that Haven Net was hosting and informed him. that he was going to lead a group of important figures, including the executive vice mayor, the vice mayor of the economic department, the chief secretary of city hall, as well as other leaders in the business world.

They were going to make an appearance at Alnewgo Central Tower as well for research purposes, so it was a good opportunity for everyone to network with each other. With Jason personally leading such a formidable party, the scale of the event jumped up to an even bigger level.

The next morning arrived.

The entrance to Alnewgo Central Tower was decorated extravagantly. A group of pretty ushers, who were dressed to the nines, were stationed in two lines on either side of the entrance. They wore professional but sweet smiles as they greeted each guest that arrived.

The tower square was packed with all types of luxury cars, including Bentleys, Maybachs, Rolls-Royces, and more. It was obvious for anyone to see that the attendees of the event were individuals who occupied the top spots of society, who commanded respect wherever they went.

Police officers were stationed around the venue to maintain order, prepared to spring into action at a moment's notice. They also made sure to conduct a strict and

thorough check-up on all the guests wishing to enter the tower.

The guests who were attending the

event were made up of powerful figures in Iselva's financial circle. Most of the leaders of Alnewgo had also made an appearance. After all, Amnewgo Central Tower had placed a great importance on the event that would take place within its walls.

Safety was definitely a priority for a financial summit of this scale. After all, not only would finance big shots be present, but important political figures would also be in attendance. If anything should happen to any one of them, the consequences would be dire.

At 8:30 am, a flashy Ferrari drove into the square. The underground parking basement had been completely filled, so a part of the square had been sectioned off as a temporary parking lot.

The car door swung open. An attractive lady wearing a pair of sunglasses stepped out from the Ferrari. It was Wilhemina.

She had rushed to Alnewgo in order to attend the event. After the car was properly parked, Wilhelmina and her subordinates strolled toward the tower as a single unit.
