Chapter 941

A Life Beyond Limits (Jack Holland) · NovelDrama.Org

There had been rumors that Soul was actually a student of Alnewgo University. Some even claimed that they had seen a car that was transporting Soul drive into the university with their own two eyes. But the rumors had eventually fizzled out when there had been no concrete evidence to back up the claims.

At the moment, most of the female students in the studio, including Winter, were diehard fans of Soul. His songs, "Time" and "Heart's Desire" were especially precious to Winter. She had listened to both songs on repeat and had even trained herself to sing them wonderfully.

The female students never would have guessed that the former rumors were true— Soul was actually a student of Alnewgo University.

Not only that, but the man of their dreams was standing right before them. He didn't put on any airs even as he towered over them with his superior height. On the contrary, he was wearing a warm smile.

Jack's voice had been nearly identical to Soul's when he sang earlier. The only difference was that his performance had been even more moving than the original, sweeping them away in his rhythm.

Furthermore, Phoebe's tone didn't have even a hint of doubt when she made her declaration earlier. There was no way that her deduction could be wrong.

It made sense that Jack wasn't overshadowed in the slightest despite how he was partnered with Phoebe for their program. It also made sense that Phoebe was constantly praising him even though she was outstanding in her own right. It was because Jack was Soul, the immensely talented god of music!

The female students no longer had any doubts in their heart. They were convinced that Jack was the former legend of the music industry. Winter and the other female students were ecstatic, to the point where they found it difficult to express the true extent of their excitement.

They grabbed whatever they had on hand-notebooks, clothes, and more—and asked Jack for his signature. Even though Jack no longer went by the moniker of Soul, in their hearts, his position as their god of music would never change. As Jack signed anything and everything that they offered him, he was also bombarded with a barrage of questions.

"Soul, I respect you so much. You've always been my idol!"

"You're so talented. Will you make a comeback in the future? I really love your songs."

"Did you compose any new songs in the past few years? When I found out about your retirement all those years ago, I was depressed for a long time."

"I have a friend who practically worships you! When she learned that you were retiring, she even threatened to hurt herself!"

Jack was touched by the female students' passionate display. He never expected to win the hearts of so many people with his voice. He answered their questions one after the other as he continued to sign their belongings.

"I won't be returning to the music scene, but I am very thankful for your support."

After hearing that Jack would no longer make a comeback, disappointment washed over Winter and the other women. Jack was so talented. It would be a massive blow to the entertainment industry if he continued to stay in retirement.

Perhaps Jack wasn't able to realize it now, but in another five or ten years when the public was reminiscing about classic songs, "Time" and "Heart's Desire" were certain to be among them.

The public would undoubtedly give both songs the label of "songs that influenced an entire generation". Only then would they realize how much of a shame it was that Jack

retired from th

music industry so

soon. It was a waste of his amazing talent.

Seeing how disappointed the female

students looked, Phoebe fixed a smile on her face and comforted them, "Winter, although Jack hasn't

written any new songs, he has achieved tremendous success in other fields we should be happy for

him."

Winter didn't understand the underlying meaning behind Phoebe's words. Instead,

she pressed on and asked, "Soul, will you write new songs in the future?"

"I will," Jack answered. His tone was colored with a hint of reluctance as he continued, "I'm about to graduate soon so wrote another campus. balladt should be released soon, but won't be promoting it much. If you enjoy the song, you can visit the designated websites to listen to it."
