Chapter 1357
Chapter 1357:
Then, unexpectedly, he laughed—a cold, menacing sound that echoed through the chamber. His gaze shifted back to Antoni with calculated malice. “Antoni, explain to me what’s going on here?”
Antoni’s Adam’s apple bobbed nervously under my watchful gaze, his eyes flickering with desperate panic. “Y-Your Highness… they… they took me hostage—”
“Useless!” Colt roared, snatching a longsword from a nearby soldier with violent precision.
The cold steel flashed in the dim light.
Antoni’s pupils dilated in shock as the blade pierced cleanly through his chest. I leaped back swiftly, watching as Antoni stared in stunned disbelief at the sword protruding from his body.
Colt sneered with satisfaction, withdrawing the sword with a sharp, merciless motion. “You deserve to die. I’ve told you before—I have no use for incompetence.”
“Y-Your Highness… you…” Antoni opened his mouth to speak, his hand reaching desperately toward Colt, only to fall lifelessly to the floor.
“You dirtied the sword,” Colt said slowly as he began wiping the blade clean with a pristine handkerchief.
The moonlight streaming through the dungeon’s skylight illuminated his cold, aristocratic profile. His eyes locked onto us with deadly intent, and he spoke in a low, chilling voice. “The proud prince of the werewolf clan, daring to sneak into my villa. Now, it’s your turn to die!”
We reverted to our human forms in a shimmer of transformation. Clayton immediately rushed to Makenna’s side, cradling her unconscious form protectively in his arms.
“Bryan, we need to retreat!” Clayton whispered urgently, his golden eyes frantically scanning the room for an escape route. I glanced at Amon, who nodded in grim understanding. He led his men forward to carve a bloody path through the soldiers ahead.
“Go!” I barked, shielding Clayton as we fought our way desperately toward freedom.

Amid the clash of steel and the anguished cries of battle, we burst out of the suffocating dungeon.
The cool night air hit us like a refreshing wave, carrying the heavy, intoxicating scent of roses from the garden.
But before we could catch our breath, more soldiers swarmed in from all directions, encircling us in a tightening ring of steel.
Colt approached with predatory slowness, his expression deceptively calm, but his voice laced with malice. “Resistance is futile. You’re on my turf now—”
“Report!”
A soldier stumbled into the scene, his helmet askew and breath ragged.
“Your Highness, Prince Jett has surrounded the entire villa with his forces!”
“What?” Colt’s expression froze in shock, his fury boiling over into rage. “How dare he interfere!”
Dominic’s POV:
As my claws sliced through the last soldier’s throat, the warmth of his blood splattered across the back of my paw.
After finishing with the soldiers encircling the hotel, I followed the plan Clayton and I had devised, making my way toward the gates of the royal city.
