Chapter 1185
Chapter 1185:
Curious, I frowned and murmured, “What could be so urgent at this time?”
Before I could think much more about it, Bryan suddenly grabbed me and pulled me into the room.
Clayton followed right behind, making sure the door was locked tight. The two of them stood in front of me, their eyes sharp and fixed, like hunters closing in on their prey.
A shiver of dread ran down my spine. My voice trembled as I stuttered, “Wh-what… what are you going to do?”
Clayton stepped closer, his fingers gently brushing against my lips. His eyes gleamed with a curious, dangerous spark, and a faint, unsettling smile tugged at his mouth. A cold shiver ran down my spine.
Then, in a low, almost whispering voice filled with unspoken intent, Clayton asked, “Makenna, did you and Dominic… make love in the bridal shop’s fitting room?”
His sudden question took me completely by surprise. My face turned bright red, and I froze, unable to move. I tried to speak, but no words came out. Embarrassed, I lowered my gaze, unable to face the intensity of his stare.
Bryan saw my reaction and grinned, a mischievous spark in his eyes. He stepped closer, narrowing the space between us. His voice carried a teasing edge, every word deliberate. “Makenna, we intentionally sent Dominic away. You can’t play favorites now. Letting him see your beauty first… it makes us jealous.”
I stiffened, my eyes darting between them. My voice faltered as I stuttered, “W-What exactly do you want?”
Clayton’s hand slid slowly down my shoulder, stopping at my chest. His voice dropped to a deep, sultry whisper. “We want you to make it up to us.”
His touch sent a shock through me. My heart raced wildly, drowning out everything else. It felt as though the world had shrunk, and it was just the three of us, our shared breaths thickening the already tense air.
I tried to pull away, but Bryan grabbed my wrist, stopping me from backing off.

There was a sharp knock at the door. The sudden sound broke the tense quiet. Bryan didn’t seem bothered at all. In fact, he laughed, letting go of my wrist and turning casually toward the door.
I found it odd. Normally, Bryan would have lashed out at anyone daring to interrupt him. But today, he seemed strangely calm. He opened the door, took a small, fancy gift box from the person outside, and closed the door softly.
A cold knot of fear twisted in my gut. I couldn’t help myself. I asked, my voice trembling, “What’s in the box?”
Bryan didn’t respond. He just lifted the lid, showing me what was inside.
I froze. Inside, there was a daring and provocative nurse’s uniform. The white fabric was so thin it was almost see-through, its bold cut revealing nearly everything.
Heat rushed to my face. A mix of anger and embarrassment bubbled up inside me. “What do you think you’re playing at?”
Bryan took the outfit from the box, giving it a small shake so it unfolded. His eyes sparkled with excitement. “We got this just for you. Since Dominic saw you first in a wedding dress, we think it’s only fair we get a turn with this one.”
Clayton spoke up, his eyes showing a strange blend of affection and ownership. “Makenna, you wouldn’t turn us down, would you?”
