Although the game had ended, one eventually had to face reality.

During one of Jack's rare moments of free time, the long-awaited signing ceremony between Genesis Games and Zenith Capital finally took place.

Due to the ongoing development of a new game, Genesis Games had been burning through its funds at a rapid pace. While still profitable, the revenue wasn't enough to sustain such high expenditures. As a result, the company urgently needed investor support; Zenith Capital was the perfect fit.

Zenith Capital's headquarters was also located in Alnewgo City. On the day of the ceremony, Jack personally led the entire Genesis Games team to the venue, a show of respect for the partnership.

The deal was worth five billion dollars, a crucial investment for the future growth of Genesis Games.

Zenith Capital, too, had high expectations for the partnership. With Genesis Games' promising prospects, the collaboration was certain to push Zenith Capital's stock value even higher.

Out of courtesy, Zenith Capital had offered transport for Jack's team. However, Jack politely declined since the venue was nearby. He then led his team to Zenith Capital, which was located in the financial district of Osvaldo in Zargonia.

The company occupied several floors of the towering Alnewgo Central Tower- a clear display of the firm's immense financial clout.

After arriving at Alnewgo Central Tower and paying the fare, the team headed toward the tower.

Suddenly, a flashy luxury car sped into the square. The driver, clearly in a rush, didn't slow down. Instead, he accelerated straight toward the underground parking lot, disregarding the crowds of pedestrians.

People scattered in fear as the vehicle roared past. But the driver was going too fast. Losing control, the car veered straight toward Jack's team.

Startled, Jack immediately pulled several nearby staff members out of the way, while the others panicked and fled in all directions.

Only Harvey Gail, the deputy director of the IT department, was too slow to react. He stood frozen as the car approached, and only when it was nearly upon him did he try to dodge.

The vehicle screeched to a halt just a foot away from him, leaving a black tire mark on the pavement.

A burly man stepped out of the driver's seat and shouted angrily, "Are you blind? Don't go crawling under my car!"

Seeing the luxury car, Harvey assumed the man must be wealthy or well- connected, and he didn't dare say a word.

But Douglas Webb, head of Genesis Games Zargonia branch, couldn't stay silent. He stepped forward and snapped, "You clearly broke the traffic rules, and now you're trying to blame us? Who gave you permission to drive into the square?"

The burly man scowled when he saw Douglas retorting. He growled, "You bastard, you got a problem? Don't think just because there are around you can seate merGo

people on, hit më! Smash my car! This thing" cost 10 million dollars and now my tire's ruined. Pay up!"

He shoved out a hand, demanding compensation from Douglas.

Douglas was about to respond, but Jack stopped him with a raised hand and stepped forward. He calmly looked at Douglas, then glanced into the passenger seat where another person sat, silently watching.

Jack immediately knew that person had the real authority. He said coolly, "I'm not going to argue with you. Get your boss."

The man sneered. "Do you think you're worthy of seeing our boss? Who the hell are you?"

Jack's voice turned icy. "Get lost."

"How dare you scold me? I'll kill you."

He was about to attack Jack, but before he could make a move, one of the staff members stepped in front of Jack, throwing punches and knees toward the burly

man.

The man was caught off guard, knocked senseless, and sent flying into the luxury car. He collided with the front hood, denting it, and fell to the ground, unable to get

up.
