Chapter 817

A Life Beyond Limits (Jack Holland) · NovelDrama.Org

After Jack was done, he kicked Galileo toward Knox and his group, then clapped his hands and asked, "Anyone else here who thinks their family didn't teach them manners? Want me to discipline them for their parents? Come forward!"

"Galileo!"

When Greta saw her brother, looking bruised and battered, she screamed and rushed to lift him up.

Galileo's face was covered in blood, and he cried loudly. Having relied on the Lycan family's influence his whole life, this was the first time he'd ever experienced such humiliation.

Everyone was stunned by Jack's fierce actions.

Knox, who had been watching from the sidelines, shouted angrily, "You country bumpkin! Who gave you the right to act tough here? Everyone, get him! Show this troublemaker a lesson! Let him know he can't cause chaos in the Lycan family!"

Although the young men were shouting and pretending to charge forward, they weren't fools. Many of them came from strict families and had never been in a fight.

It was fine for them to watch and jeer from the sidelines, but when it came to actually confronting someone, they were hesitant.

Moreover, they had just witnessed Jack effortlessly put Galileo in his place with a single move. Clearly, Jack was someone not to be taken lightly.

Knox tried to rally them by stepping forward and leading the charge. However, he was quickly stopped by Jack.

Unfortunately, Jack grabbed Knox by his mohawk hair and delivered a few quick pushes that left the latter staggering and disoriented.

Once he was done, Jack gave Knox a firm shove, sending him stumbling backward. He then clapped his hands and said, "That was awesome!"

Now, Knox was left looking disheveled and bruised, just like Galileo.

The other young men, seeing how easily Jack had handled both of them, were too intimidated to make a move. They stood frozen, too scared to react.

By now, the sounds of the fighting, screaming, and crying had caught the attention of the older generation.

Ever since Galileo had been beaten, someone had already rushed inside to report what happened to both him and Knox.

Soon after, Samantha stormed out, flanked by a group of younger relatives. The moment she saw Knox and Galileo lying on the ground, bruised and groaning, her face went pale with shock, and she trembled with rage.

Josie burst into tears at the sight of Galileo's condition. She cradled him anxiously, asking over and over where he was hurting.

Lillian was no better. She broke down crying the moment she saw Knox's injuries. She knelt beside him and asked frantically, "My poor boy, what happened to you? Are you hurt? Who did this to you? Just tell me, and I'll make sure they pay for it!"

Though Knox was twenty years old, he was clutching his face and sobbing like a child. "That scumbag did this to me! Mom, you have to stand up for me! Beat him to death."

Emily rushed over to Jack and asked worriedly, "Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?"

No matter the time or place, a mother's first concern was always her child. Emily was especially protective. Though she seemed gentle within the Lycan family, if anyone ever hurt Jack, she wouldn't hesitate to risk her life to defend him.

Jack shook his head and said calmly, "I'm fine. They disrespected you, so I stepped in." ʀᴇᴀᴅ ʟᴀᴛᴇsᴛ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀᴛ FιndNovel.net

Jack had already beaten Knox and Galileo. What could they really do about it now? If anyone dared insult him or Emily again, Jack had no problem showing this so-called noble family what it truly meant to push someone too far.

Emily began to relax, though her face was still full of worry and guilt. She knew how lowly the others in the family saw her, but she hadn't expected that scorn to fall on her son too.

Emily couldn't help thinking if she weren't present, would Jack, born of Quintis' blood, be just as admired and respected as Maverick, Tristan, and Knox?

After all, Jack was a direct descendant of the Lycan family. He should live a life filled with dignity and promise.
