Chapter 832:

“Let me go! She’ll die if we don’t help her!”

Bryan frowned, his gaze stern as he spoke with unwavering conviction.

“I know! But if you rush over there now, not only will you fail to save her, but you’ll die for nothing!”

A soldier in obsidian armor stepped forward from the ranks.

He knelt on one knee, offering a formal salute to the three princes, before rising to speak with authority.

“Your Highnesses, since you have captured this traitor, please hand her over to me for disposal. There is no need for you to trouble yourselves further.”

Bryan raised his chin, looking at him with glacial disdain.

“And what if we refuse?”

The moment his words fell, the air around us seemed to freeze solid.

The soldier sighed resignedly, though his voice remained unnervingly calm.

“Your Highness, His Majesty has ordered that, by whatever means necessary, Makenna Dunn must be taken away. As for you princes, as long as your lives are not endangered, we are permitted to act as we will.”

Seeing the situation growing increasingly dire, I could not bear to involve any more innocent people, nor watch the three princes risk everything for my sake. Taking a deep breath, I steeled myself to step forward voluntarily.

But before my feet could move, steel sang through the air as the princes drew their blades and charged.

The clash of battle erupted around me like a storm breaking.

“Makenna! Run!” Bryan’s command cut through the chaos.

Dominic and Clayton pressed closer, their bodies becoming a shield against the waves of soldiers crashing against me. I moved to help, but Jett’s iron grip closed around my wrist.

“We can’t do anything here! Get in the car!” He yanked me toward the waiting vehicle.

“NO! I won’t abandon Grace again!”

I twisted desperately, watching her broken form lying beyond reach, surrounded by a sea of soldiers.

Ignoring my protests, Jett shoved me into the car before leaping into the driver’s seat. The engine roared to life as he slammed the accelerator. The car shot forward like an unleashed beast, dust billowing in our wake.

“Stop that car!” A soldier’s command rang out, followed by the thunderous growl of engines giving chase.

Through the rear window, I watched armored vehicles emerge from the dust cloud, bearing down on us with deadly intent.

The gun barrels tracked us like Death’s own eyes, promising destruction with every glint of steel.

“Relentless bastards!” Jett snarled, wrestling with the wheel as our vehicle zigzagged through the night.

Bullets hammered against the frame, spiderwebbing across the glass in lethal patterns.

The world outside became a blur of shadow and wind, yet still, the armored vehicles gained on us, our bullet-riddled car growing weaker with each passing moment.

The chase drove us into treacherous territory—a wasteland of broken earth and jagged stones that fought against Jett’s every maneuver.
