Chapter 1193
Chapter 1193:
With a soft sigh, Alden’s lips curved into a tender smile. “Very well, then I’ll keep you company out here.”
As he spoke, he drew me into his arms, his embrace enveloping me with a comforting warmth.
“My arms are far cozier—you won’t feel the cold now,” Alden teased, a playful glint in his eyes.
Caught off guard, a flush crept across my cheeks. I pressed lightly against his chest, murmuring, “Alden, behave, we’re out in the open.”
Alden pouted, his gaze tinged with a mix of tipsy warmth and quiet discontent. “Makenna, it’s been ages since you’ve been close to me. Ever since those three princes moved into the Pierce estate, your attention has drifted to them, spending nearly every moment in their company. I can’t help feeling a little neglected.”
Only then did I notice the slight haze in his eyes and the faint scent of wine on his breath—he was drunk.
Rising to my feet, I offered him a steadying hand. “Alden, you’ve had too much to drink. Let me guide you back to rest.”
Alden shook his head, pulling me back into his arms and settling me onto his lap, his hold growing even more resolute.
“I’m not drunk,” he insisted, his voice earnest. “I just… I just can’t bear the thought of you drifting so far from me.”
Makenna’s POV:
“Alden, let go of me…” I pleaded, struggling to break free from Alden’s grasp. But before I could move, his fingers curled around my chin, pulling me closer with unexpected firmness.
My eyes met his, now dangerously near, and I found myself caught in the depths of his gaze—those usually clear, pure eyes clouded with intoxication. They shimmered with a dreamy haze that made him seem both vulnerable and irresistibly magnetic.
His lips parted slightly, warm breath brushing my forehead. “Makenna… I… I really love you,” he murmured, his voice thick with drunken longing. “Please… don’t say no.”

I lifted my gaze to his again, noticing the glaze dulling his eyes, the heavy lids drooping as if weighed down by a fog. Before I could gather my thoughts, he leaned in and pressed his lips firmly against mine.
The taste of alcohol mingled with heat, his kiss claiming my breath with a fierce urgency. I froze, hands flat against his chest, desperate to push him away, but his grip on my wrists tightened, holding me captive.
When he finally pulled back, I gasped for air, cheeks burning, heart pounding wildly in my chest. His gaze remained unfocused, his voice low and rough. “Makenna… don’t push me away. I really miss you… I want you…”
His breath fell heavy on my shoulder, stirring an uncomfortable shiver, and I fought harder against his hold. But my strength was no match for his, especially in his drunken state, oblivious to his own force.
“Please, Alden, let me go…” I wriggled, growing more anxious by the second.
He lifted his head from my shoulder, eyes glazed yet fixed on me. Then, without warning, he bent down again, capturing my lips with a fierce, demanding kiss. His mouth was hot, sucking with a hunger that left me breathless.
I struggled, but he pinned my hands against his chest, his body pressing firmly against mine, his thigh grinding against my vagina. One kiss was never enough for him. I could feel his hard length ghosting against my body, so rigid it seemed to threaten tearing through his trousers.
